Infocrossing has been selected by Mathematica, the CMS Integrated Care Resource Center (ICRC) contractor,
to support the eligibility verification and enrollment processes for the CMS Financial Alignment Demonstration.
Participating States will use Infocrossing's enrollment systems and solutions to report enrollment into the
new Demonstration plans and exchange enrollment data with CMS. Infocrossing will work with Mathematica, CMS,
the States, and participating organizations to ensure the successful enrollment of beneficiaries into this new program.
Infocrossing Healthcare Services, a Medicare Managed Care services provider owned by Wipro Technologies, the Global
Information Technology, Consulting and Outsourcing division of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT), will support Mathematica
Policy Research, Inc.(Mathematica) by assisting the Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office (MMCO), as they work with
the States to promote more effective approaches to delivering integrated health care to individuals eligible for both
Medicare and Medicaid (Dual Eligibles).
Under CMS's State Demonstrations to Integrate Care for Dual Eligible Individuals, multiple states across the country
have been selected to design new approaches to better coordinate care for dual eligible individuals. CMS will provide
funding and technical assistance to states to develop person-centered approaches to coordinate care across primary,
acute, behavioral health and long-term supports and services for dual eligible individuals. The goal is to identify
and validate delivery systems and payment coordination models that can be tested and replicated in other states.
Medicare Managed Care has experienced significant changes over the past 15 years. The Balanced Budget Act of 1997,
the Medicare Modernization Act of 2004, and now the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA) have
resulted in significant challenges for Medicare Managed Care Organizations (MCO). Infocrossing has played a major role
in providing services to help MCOs successfully meet these challenges.
